Specialising in 1970s and ‘80s funk, soul and R&B, Mr. Groove is a record shop worth checking out at Galeria Presidente, alongside Zoyd Discos. There are almost 1,000 records here, with Brazilian names including the bombastic Tim Maia. Original Jorge Ben albums like the cult 1974 record A Tábua de Esmeralda, considered one of Ben’s best, can also be found at R$80.
